Industrial Demise

The city of Leicester UK, was once an industrial powerhouse, specialising in shoes, engineering, hosiery and printing. I left school in 1969 and became an apprentice Litho Platemaker. It was a different world here back then. For several years, I have been photographing the steady decline of the city's heavy industries, more recently in 3D. Here are a few examples, shot with a Nikon F90, and a Neptune 50mm lens.
